Autum Pierce

Autum Pierce is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and has served in various areas of social work practice including addiction and recovery, hospice, and adult psychiatric issues. Autum earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Mississippi in 2013 and Master of Social Work from Union University in 2020. She is a passionate mentor for high school and college students.

Autum has 17 years of experience in addiction and recovery with 8 years of experience working with grief associated with terminal illness, death of a loved one, and life problems that bring about symptoms of depression and anxiety. Autum brings experience of home-based work with families in rural America across Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and Arkansas. She has also worked in residential and IOP substance abuse treatment with adults and adolescents.

Autum believes that we are all on a journey and sometimes life difficulties can hold us back from living happy, joyous and free. She utilizes a person-centered strength’s-based perspective in her work with clients. Her clinical approach includes an eclectic style tailored to each client’s needs including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT). Her additional areas of focus are relationship issues, family dysfunction, depression, adolescent-young adult life navigation, and anxiety. Autum is dedicated to supporting others through life’s ups and downs, she offers a safe space for growth and empowerment.
